This isn’t a story about beauty. It’s about convincing yourself you’re not miserable, that you don’t walk between a cycle of fear & hope. Cryptid is what that they call you. A new form of human. A freak who can morph into a monster at will, shunned from a society that fears what it can’t understand. That’s how you ended up here.

Metzger’s Menagerie offers protection the rest of the world can’t give, as long as you work for the most luxurious circus to date, as long as you sit at a ticket booth or perform on a tightrope, & as long as someone makes a profit over the part of you that makes you a beast. But you must understand: if monsters could look like humans, & humans could look like monsters, how could anyone be sure who belonged inside those cages?

MENAGERIE RPG is a literate rp revolving around the ever-increasing tension, & a growing revolution, in Metzger’s Menagerie midst. The Menagerie is a traveling circus and home to Monsters & Cryptids, with Disney characters inspiring the skeletons.
