a lot of fanfic just glosses over a lot of this, and have tony and peter as just two peas in a pod with no problems, and love joking about him being the baby of the avengers, but he's actually super competent and dealing with a lot of shit, i love my spider son as much as the next fangirl, i really want some fanfic of tony stark really having to rebuild peter's trust in him, iron man, it's not all just highschool fluff, it's not the only type of fic i want, marvel, peter parker, spider-man, spiderman: homecoming, they also often excessively infantilize peter, tony stark, which i dislike
